SMC Design

SMC Design are an engineering design company based in Nottingham.
Their field of expertise lies mainly in the automotive industry with high profile clients such as Ford, General Motors and Rover.

Goal

We were asked to produce a presentation of their traditional brochure pack. Distribution was to be via the web (web site) or alternatively via CD ROM or FTP.

Solution

Because the brochure had to be neatly packaged and distributable we decided that Macromedia® Flash™ offered the ideal solution.

We were able to utilise the existing artwork from their printed material and included a facility whereby the text could be updated and amended easily.

The flash brochure has recently been published online as a stop gap while a more suitable online solution is developed.
