About Us

Who We Are

A small team of designers and developers creating functional and appealing web sites that work for our customers. We recognised some time ago that many businesses, especially small businesses, were being offered a less than satisfactory service - our aim is to be better than the competition, whatever the client's budget.

We've been creating web sites for our customers for many years; WebArtifice started in 1996 (before 1999; known as SPT Web). We use a core of reliable freelancers to complete complex projects but generally all work is carried out "in house".

We pride ourselves on providing client satisfaction. Most of our clients operate in the small to medium business sector and we have found that they value the personal service that we offer. We realise that asking someone to design a web site can be an intimidating and complicated process; we provide a service where advice is jargon free and solutions are easy to understand.

Why We Do It

Simply because we enjoy it. It also pays the bills, and that always helps.

We are motivated by new and exciting methods of information exchange and enjoy working in an arena where we can see the results of our craft making a positive impact on our client's business.
