SEO Audits
My SEO audits provide genuine insight into why your website might have difficulty appearing in search results.
They aren’t free because I believe that anything worth having has value.

Webartifice SEO Audits
In my experience, clients don’t want pages of technical jargon with tables and charts that are not easy to understand. Instead, what they want to know is:
- What needs fixing?
- How much will it cost?
- How long will It take?
My audits cover the first item on the list. After that, your developer and/or content creators will be able to tell you how long it will take and how much they will charge you.
You may wish to use some of my other services to help fix problems. I can price them for you once I know the scope of your requirements.

What My SEO Audits Cover
My assessments look at your overall SEO strategy and an in-depth technical SEO assessment of your website. My report highlights any severe problems that need addressing and provides suggestions on how to improve your website’s position in search. Finally, the report indicates minor issues that can be fixed; I list these in order of value.
My audit includes over 250 checks. I use a mixture of professional-grade software, manual research, and software provided by search engines.
How My SEO Audits Are Delivered
I’ll provide a video in which I highlight any opportunities that you may have to improve your SEO.
In addition, you’ll receive a checklist of all the points I’ve assessed along with notes to help your developers or content creators fix any problems I’ve found.
You can use this data to mould your future SEO strategy. You may ask me to provide you with supporting services to help you solve the problems I’ve highlighted, although this is by no means a requirement.
How Much Do My SEO Audits Cost?
Costs depend on how big your website is and the reason for requesting an audit. Get in touch, and I’ll provide you with an estimate.
7 Reasons Why Webartifice SEO Audits Beat Free Options Every Time
When it comes to improving your website’s performance, visibility, and conversion rates, a proper SEO audit is essential. But not all audits are equal. At Webartifice, we offer paid SEO audits that go beyond the generic, surface-level reports offered by free tools. Here are seven compelling reasons why a professional audit from Webartifice gives your business the edge.
1. Tailored Analysis for Your Specific Business Goals
Free SEO tools give you the same checklist everyone gets. But your business isn’t like everyone else’s. At Webartifice, our audits are customised to your niche, your goals, and your audience. Whether you’re targeting local SEO in Dorset or trying to increase conversions for a Scottish holiday cottage, we align our analysis with your objectives. That means actionable insights that actually support growth.
2. Deeper Technical Insight
Free audits often miss technical SEO issues that could be harming your search rankings. We go under the bonnet. From diagnosing crawl errors and indexing issues to reviewing schema markup, site speed, and mobile usability, we highlight the technical problems that truly affect how Google and users see your site. You won’t get that depth from a quick online scan.
3. Real Human Expertise, Not Just Software Reports
There’s no substitute for expert eyes. While free audits rely on automated scoring, we interpret the data through years of hands-on SEO experience. We don’t just flag issues—we explain the why, the impact, and the fix, in plain English. If you’ve ever looked at a free audit and thought, “What now?”—we’re the answer.
4. Competitor and Market Context
Your SEO isn’t happening in a vacuum. Our audits examine how your website performs in relation to your local and online competitors. We benchmark rankings, identify keyword gaps, and analyse backlink profiles, so you know exactly where you stand and what to do next. Free tools don’t even attempt this level of strategic context.
5. Conversion-Focused Recommendations
Ranking #1 on Google is great, but what if your visitors don’t convert? Webartifice audits go further by reviewing UX, layout, micro-copy, and calls-to-action. We help ensure your traffic turns into enquiries, bookings, or sales. This practical approach is ideal for service-based businesses and holiday lets, where conversions matter as much as traffic.
6. Ongoing Support and Clarification
A PDF from a free tool won’t answer your questions. Our audits come with follow-up time included. That means you can ask for clarification, get advice, and discuss next steps without being left in the dark. We partner with you to make improvements, not just hand over a document and disappear.
7. Roadmap to Results—Not Just a Report
Our audits are designed to give you a clear, prioritised action plan. We don’t overload you with metrics; we identify what matters most and what to do first. Think of it as a roadmap for practical SEO improvement, tailored for small businesses that need to make every marketing pound count.
Ready to Take SEO Seriously?
If you’re serious about improving your site’s visibility, attracting the right traffic, and converting more visitors into customers, a Webartifice SEO Audit is a smart investment. Unlike generic, one-size-fits-all tools, our audits are focused, practical, and aligned with your business. Commission your audit today and unlock real growth potential.
Free SEO Audits –
Why They Have Limited Value
In my experience, most free SEO audits are computer-generated or have minimal human input. As a result, they are generally used to shock potential clients into having work completed on their website that may not be necessary. Furthermore, if the audit highlights issues, it rarely prioritises what needs fixing or what will provide the best value.
I prefer to take a different approach to website audits and want to provide my customers with a valuable assessment of their website that will allow them to make informed choices. But unfortunately, my audits aren’t free.
Still Not Convinced?
If you still want a free SEO audit, you could try this tool. However, the results can be misleading unless you know how any fault it finds impacts SEO. If you have more time, you might like to take a DIY approach; here’s an article that might help you identify genuine problems.
If you would like to discuss a report with me, I’m happy to do so. You’ll need to book an appointment, and I’ll charge you for my time. I don’t use this software when auditing websites, but I can explain what impact any of the identified issues might have and whether they are worth addressing.
